About The Owner

As a California native, yet ironically born in Texas where I currently reside, I  started my venture in the Insurance Industry in 2002. Initially my journey began working with the commercial medical and dental Insurance carriers, to include Tricare. 

I learned my skills where the rubber meets the road, which was in customer service, billing and enrollment, then I spent some years in claims adjudication and prior authorizations. I then became licensed and moved into Broker Services serving as a commercial lines account manager, then onward into small group Medical Underwriting. 

During my career venture, I served as a supervising account manager for a major pharmaceutical firm working with providers under the copay assistance program. I fought dilegently for patients who needed high cost prescription medications. They called me "The bulldog", because I made it happen and understood clearly how to represent each patient's needs to get them the assisstance needed.

In the last five years I switched gears into the Medicare sector as the universe saw fit and it became my passion to serve our nations Medicare beneficiaries. While working for a major Insurance company in commercial, I'd continusouly recieve calls from Medicare members and although it was not my department, the callers would ask me to please help as they weren't getting thier needs addressed. So I did. 

I feel with the knowledge I have obtained over the years, it would be my calling to help my clients navigate through thier benefit options with ease.

Insurance is confusing for those who haven't spent the amount of years in the Industry as I have and with my experience I solve issues, guide, educate, empower and advocate from beginning of coverage all the way through.  

Fun Facts:

I have a college degree in Business Management and Business Administration and have successfully ran a couple of proprietary business ventures. While In college I decided to test the content I was being taught, put on my best suit, shook hands with the CEO and began my first business venture. To my surprise, the studying paid off.

 I was born in Texas as my father served in the military, however I have zero recollection as I was in California by age of six months. My oldest son joined the military many moons later and was transferred to Texas after his military training. While at his base, he mentioned the affordability in buying a home in Texas, so I gave it a go. As a "seasoned" adult, I now live twenty minutes from my birthplace of Fort Sam Houston.
