Last Stop Insurance Solutions provides health insurance coverage in 27 states across the United States:

Last Stop Insurance Solutions offers a range of health insurance plans such as HMO, PPO, EPO, POS and PFFS plans.


You become eligible for Medicare at age 65, if you have worked and paid Medicare taxes for at least 10 years (40 quarters), however those with specific disabilities, such as ALS, or ESRD, or those who recieved Social Security disability benefits for 24 months under age 65 are also eligible.


Citizenship & Residency Requirements

Must be a U.S. citizen or a legal permanent resident who has lived in the U.S. for at least 5 consecutive years.


Medicare Special Needs Plans (SNP)

What are Special Needs Plans?

Special needs plans provide tailored benefits, provider networks and drug formularies for people with specific health conditions, or who are low income. ** Please note: plan availabilty varies in each zip code. **

Chronic Special Needs Plan (CSNP)

Chronic Special needs plans are available to those with specific chronic health conditions, such as chronic heart failure, diabetes, cardiovascular disorders, lung care and or advanced kidney disease or ESRD.


These plan options are a benefit to have for those who have the above conditions and most include transportation benefits as well as an OTC card that gives a higher limit to purchase healthy foods.  ** Please note: plan availabilty varies in each zip code. **

Dual Special Needs Plan (DSNP)

Dual Special Needs plans are available for those who have qualified for both Medicare AND Medicaid. These plan options are created to keep the cost of care to include prescription drug coverage minimal to no cost, depending on the level of Medicaid the beneficiary is qualified for. Some levels of Medicaid eliminate Part B premium. Medicaid eligibility is processed through your local Human Services Department. ** Please note: plan availabilty varies in each zip code. **

LIS

What is Low Income Subsidy?

LIS also known as Low Income Subsidy is a great benefit to never over look eligiblity. Depending upon the level of LIS you qualify for can greatly reduce your drug cost and again depending on the level, can eliminate your drug deductible and significantly lower your drug costs. It is easy to apply for and I can help you submit the form.  

Prescription Drug Coverage

Prescription Tiers

MAPD plans include prescription drug coverage. These plans typically have 5 tiers, sometimes 6. A tier means the level of cost on the drug formulary. 


  • Tier 1 are preferred low cost generic and are lowest copays. 
  • Tier 2 are nonpreferred low cost generic drugs but more than Tier 1
  • Tier 3 are preferred brand-name and some higher cost generic drugs
  • Tier 4 are non preferred brand name and highest cost generic
  • Tier 5 are specialty medications
  • Tier 6 (If plan applicable) are Select Care drugs typically with $0 copay.
